Keeping your MIS connected to MyLogin

What is an MIS?

An MIS (Management Information System) is software that schools use to manage data like student records, staff details, attendance, and grades. It keeps all the important information organised and helps schools run smoothly.

Your MIS and MyLogin

MyLogin works with your school’s MIS using Wonde’s data sync. This means your MIS needs to be running properly for MyLogin to work correctly.

If there’s an issue with the connection, you might notice:

  • Missing or incorrect user data.
  • Users in the wrong groups.
  • Users who have left the school are still appearing in MyLogin.

If you think there’s a problem with your MIS data, contact our Integrations team at support@wonde.com or call +44 1638 438094.

Changing Your School’s MIS and MyLogin

If you’re planning to switch to a new MIS, here’s what to do:

Before the change

Contact our Integrations team at support@wonde.com or +44 1638 438094 with the date of your planned migration. They’ll help make sure MyLogin is ready to connect to your new MIS.

After the change

Once the migration is complete, our team will confirm the update.

A new MIS means all user data is replaced with new IDs. You’ll need to reassign and share new login details with your users through the MyLogin interface. This is a simple process and we’ve outlined it below for ease.

Next steps

MyLogin Device

  • Provide users with new credentials (Magic Badges and/or Emojis, passwords will also need to be reset, if used). Please refer to our ‘Managing Users’ help article for details on how to do this.
  • Wonde users will need to be re-matched with their corresponding Google or Microsoft accounts. For detailed instructions on how to do this, please refer to our "User Matching" help article.

MyLogin SSO

  • Provide users with new credentials (Magic Badges and/or Emojis, passwords will also need to be reset, if used). Please refer to our ‘Managing Users’ help article for details on how to do this.
  • Check your logins with your third-party applications. If they have been affected by the change,  we recommend getting in touch with the applications directly to manage this.
  • Any saved passwords which have been set up, will need to be updated via your MyLogin admin.

If your school is a user of both platforms, please follow the steps above for both MyLogin Device and MyLogin SSO platforms.
